Wasps have been dealt a blow ahead of their Premiership semi-final against Exeter after Thomas Young was ruled out with a double injury.

Ahead of Saturday's game at Sandy Park, Wasps have released a statement saying the following players will be unavailable for selection.

"Thomas Young has unfortunately been ruled out for up to eight weeks following a double injury, sustained against London Irish at the Ricoh Arena on Saturday 7 May," it read.

"A scan revealed a partial tear of his hamstring tendon, while he also suffered a shoulder injury in the same game, which will prevent him from being on standby for Wales’ Tour of New Zealand."

In other injury news from the Wasps camp, Kearnan Myall will not return in time for the semi-final while James Cannon, James Gaskell, Alapati Leiua and Andrea Masi continue their rehabilitation from injuries.
