The Dragons have suffered an injury setback after back-row forward Lewis Evans was confirmed to have undergone wrist surgery on Wednesday.
Newport born Evans has had an ongoing issue with his wrist and recent examinations and scans confirmed the 27-year-old required immediate surgery. Dragons medical staff have confirmed that the rehabilitation process will take several months.
Centre Ross Wardle also underwent surgery, three weeks ago on his shoulder, which he injured during the game against Zebre. Wardle is progressing well through the early stages of his rehabilitation.
