Western Province forwards Oli Kebble and Chris van Zyl could both miss this Friday's Currie Cup clash against the Free State Cheetahs in Bloemfontein.

Kebble (prop) has a hamstring niggle, while Van Zyl (lock) took a bang to his knee against the Blue Bulls at the weekend. Van Zyl is definitely out of the match against the Cheetahs and Kebble is a big doubt.

Meanwhile, scrum-half Nic Groom will be playing for the Barbarians in the United Kingdom this week and will not be available for the Cheetahs clash.

His place in the Currie Cup matchday squad is set to be taken by Louis Schreuder is back at full training and available for selection this week after recovering from a hamstring knock.

Lock/flank Jurie van Vuuren also returned to training and is also in the selection mix after recovering from a hamstring injury.
