Newly promoted Worcester Warriors have released former Argentina number ten Ignacio Mieres ahead of the new season.
Mieres and winger James Stephenson will not be part of Worcester's first campaign back in the English top flight after they defeated Bristol in last season's Championship final.
Mieres joined Worcester in 2013 from Exeter Chiefs as a replacement for Andy Goode, scoring 184 points in 38 matches for the side.
However he lost his place to Ryan Lamb in the 2014/2015 campaign and struggled for playing time behind both Lamb and Ryan Mills.
Mieres is understood by the BBC to have returned to Argentina and is the last of Worcester's Argentine contingent to leave the club, following the departures of Leonardo Senatore and current Argentina captain Agustín Creevy.
