Worcester tighthead prop Nick Schonert has committed his future to the Premiership club by signing a new contract to remain at Sixways.
The front-row forward, who turns 25 today, has been one of the Warriors' standout performers during his first two seasons at the club.
After joining from the Cheetahs in 2014, Schonert has become an ever-present in the Warriors side, having started 42 of his 43 appearances.
The prop also previously played for the Sharks at U19 and U21 level and made five appearances for South Africa U20s, featuring in the 2011 Junior World Championship.
"Nick is a great example of a young player who's developed and grown through the system, having utilised the infrastructure and resource that we have in place at Warriors," said head coach Carl Hogg.
"His progress has been outstanding and to have a tighthead prop of his quality is a real asset to the side.
"We look forward to working with him further in the coming seasons to try and help him reach his full potential."
Schonert added: "I've really enjoyed my first two years in Worcester having made some lifelong friends.
"We've had some very special moments, in particular our promotion back to the Premiership in 2015, and I look forward to enjoying more memorable moments over the years to come.
"There is everything a player needs here at Sixways to become the best they can be and hopefully I can help take this great club to where it belongs at the top of the game."
