They’re on fire!

South Africa: The Springboks bounced back well from last week’s disappointment with a deserved win over England. That’s now 12 in a row unbeaten against the Red Rose dating all the way back to 2006. Pat Lambie and Cobus Reinach worked well together as a half-back partnership, with the latter in particular showing why South African supporters have been so keen to see him get a chance. It wasn’t all perfect, but the Boks took their chances, unlike a week earlier.

Felix Jones and Ireland: Ireland’s many changes might have led to some confusion, but Jones was a rock at full-back. Tested by multiple high balls from the Georgia kicking unit, Jones never flinched and was duly rewarded in the second half with two tries. Before kickoff even happened on Sunday, Ireland also learned that they’re now third in the IRB Rankings.
