They’re on fire!

New Zealand: A classy performance from New Zealand, if not a completely perfect one. Nice work not being distracted by the occasion or letting off in the second half, although it did seem at one stage as if the All Blacks might rack up a century. Twickenham awaits.

Barbarians v Australia: We LOVED this game. True ‘Barbarians’ rugby of the highest order, with exceptional performances from Frank Halai, Peter Saili, Tim Nanai-Williams, Sean McMahon and Tevita Kuridrani in particular. 54,000 got their money’s worth and fair play for the Wallabies for continuing to give it a go once the 80 minutes were up.

Toulon, Bayonne and Oyonnax: Nine tries against last season’s nemesis Grenoble confirmed Toulon’s status as the best side in France. Their passing in the second half in particular was immaculate. Bayonne and Oyonnax also stood tall in the Top 14 with their surprise wins over Clermont and Racing M
