‘We need to play finals rugby’ – Prydie

Newport Gwent Dragons full-back Tom Prydie says that his side needs to start playing finals rugby if they are to stay in contention for the Challenge Cup.

Last weekend the Dragons lost 33-20 to the Worcester Warriors and have a chance the rectify the score line when they host the English side this weekend.

Prydie says it is now or never for his side and that a win is imperative for them.

"The double-headers mean you haven't got to wait long for the chance to put the wrongs right," Prydie told the South Wales Argus.

"We went up there really confident of getting the win but this is now a cup final for us. If we lose we are out of Europe, everyone is fully aware of that and it's a huge game.

"Everyone is really focused on sorting things out from last week, because that just wasn't good enough.

"We've done well in Europe in the last two years and it's great to have that along with the league. If we can get out of our group it's some to look forward to because it's great to play against big teams in big stadiums."
