Leinster head coach Matt O’Connor admitted their draw with Treviso was “disappointing” as they missed the chance to pick up maximum points.
The 24-24 result saw the Guinness PRO12 holders fail to see off the struggling Italian outfit, who have still to win a league game this season.
O’Connor though has refused to point the finger of blame on injury problems, with Luke Fitzgerald and Richardt Strauss both late withdrawals.
“It was disappointing. We let ourselves down. We didn’t have a lot of ball in the second half and therefore couldn’t manage enough territory or possession,” he explained to PRO12rugby.com.
“Luke complained of a tight groin after the warm-up and it wasn’t worth taking the risk, while Richardt’s hamstring tightened up and so we didn’t want to take a chance with him either.”
