Wasps must kick on – Tagicakibau

Wasps wing Sailosi Tagicakibau has urged his team-mates to back themselves in Sunday’s away clash against Castres.

After suffering two narrow defeats to Leinster and Harlequins in their earlier pool matches, Wasps are determined to secure their first win against fellow strugglers Castres who are just a point adrift of Dai Young’s charges in the standings.

“We don’t know too much about what we’ll be up against this weekend,” said Tagicakibau.

They aren’t doing as well as they would expect domestically and they could throw anything at us.

“We need to focus on ourselves and concentrate on continuing that improvement we have seen in the last two games.

“The boys are working really hard and this weekend is a great opportunity for us to get a good win and kick on.

“We’ve still got a chance of coming away with something in this tournament. If you want to do well in the top tier of Europe you have to go away to places like Castres and win.

“If we do that, it will leave us in good stead as we round off the group stages of the competition.”
