Wales captain Sam Warburton will make his return from injury against world champions New Zealand next weekend according to reports.
The flanker sustained a shoulder injury at the end of April and he was on the sidelines, last weekend, when Wales lost 27-13 to England at Twickenham.
The 27-year-old has a big presence on the field and Wales will require his leadership skills and calming influence if they are to be competitive against the All Blacks.
Prop Paul James will not be available for the first Test match, however Wales head coach Gatland is hopeful that he will be available for the remainder of the tour.
The three-match Test series gets underway at Eden Park in Auckland on June 11 which will be followed by two matches in Wellington and Dunedin.
