Fiji flanker Dominiko Waqaniburotu has been cited for an alleged tip tackle on Jonny May at Twickenham on Friday.
The Fijian was penalised by Jaco Peyper at the time for lifting May beyond the horizontal but did not pick up a card.
However he has now been cited by Citing Commissioner Douglas Hunter (Scotland) for an alleged act of foul play contrary to Law 10.4(j) during.
He faces a disciplinary hearing which will take place at 10:00 on Monday, 21 September at Clifford Chance in London and the case will be heard by Independent Judicial Officer Professor Lorne Crerar (Scotland).
Fiji lost 35-11 in the opening game of the tournament to England, although they pushed the hosts hard for much of the game before conceding two late tries.
Their next game is against Australia on Wednesday in Cardiff.
