Wales have been handed a boost with the news that injuries sustained to Jonathan Davies, Scott Williams and Cory Allen aren’t as bad as first feared.
The centre trio suffered injury setbacks during their respective games over the recent European club weekend, which was a worry for the Welsh.
However, it now appears the latter duo could be in contention for Wales’ November 8 opener against Australia while Davies received a timely boost.
“It’s pretty positive news all around really,” said forwards coach Robin McBryde, speaking to walesonline.co.uk ahead of the year-end Tests.
“We are still monitoring the way the players are progressing with regard to their rehab, but it’s looking good ahead of next week and hopefully most, if not all, will be taking a part next week.
“Things are going in the right way. It’s early to make a definite call, but it’s a lot more positive than what we first thought.”
