Wales lose Jones for Australia clash

Wales second-row Alun Wyn Jones will miss this weekend's Test match against Australia in Cardiff due to personal reasons.

The WRU confirmed on Tuesday that Jones had pulled out of the contest following the passing of his father, Tim.

Jones was one of the contenders to lead the side with regular captain Sam Warburton already ruled out due to injury.

Wales head into Saturday's Test looking for a first victory over the Wallabies since 2008, having lost the last 11 meetings between the two sides.
