VIDEO: Cudmore sneaks up on France

France made it three wins out of three against Canada in Milton Keynes but had to cope with an intruder during the game.

Late in the first half, with Canada back to within five points, France had a crucial lineout five metres out from the Canadian line.

As they huddled together to discuss tactics, Jamie Cudmore, the Canadian second row who plays his club rugby at Clermont, joined in the huddle to listen in.

He was quickly spotted by Guilhem Guirado, who dragged him away, and it seems he didn’t hear what France’s plans were, with Rabah Slimani going over from the resulting lineout.
