Wales returned to their winning ways when they claimed an unconvincing 17-13 victory over Fiji in Cardiff on Saturday.

The home side made eight changes to their starting line-up after last weekend’s close defeat to Australia, but none of the players who came in to the side made a case for them to be included in the run-on side for the upcoming Tests against New Zealand and South Africa.

Fiji battled bravely but their cause was not helped by the poor discipline of prop Campese Ma’afu, who was sent off for two yellow card offences.

Ma’afu was first sent to the sin bin in 37th minute when he entered a maul from the side, after Wales went on a drive close to their try-line and referee Pascal Gauz
