The Kings have announced the signature of Toulouse prop Schalk Ferreira, who returns to the South African team on a two-year contract.
31-year-old Ferreira played Super Rugby for the Kings in 2013 before heading to the French giants, initially as a medical joker, before inking a three-season deal and going on to play 35 games in Toulouse colours.
Ferreira will officially join the Port Elizabeth side from July 1 with his contract running until the end of the 2017 season.
"We are happy to announce that we will be welcoming Schalk Ferreira back to the Kings family shortly," Kings coach Brent Janse van Rensburg told Sport24.
"We have been working extensively on a number of areas, with one being the procurement plan of the union to ensure that we are prepared as best as we possibly can for re-entry in Super Rugby next season.
"We will need a certain level of ability, depth and also experience within the union's Super Rugby squad to carry us through the competition."
