Toulon are set to be boosted by the return from injury of fly-half Jonny Wilkinson for their Heineken Cup quarter-final with Leinster on Sunday.

Sources close to the French club revealed that the 34-year-old, who missed recent Top 14 games against Clermont and Toulouse, should start.

Wilkinson's return will see Frédéric Michalak dropped to the bench despite starring with superb performances during the Englishman's absence.

One player who returns to training is former All Black back-row Chris Masoe, who is back from ruptured knee ligaments he suffered last year.

Toulon are definitely without experienced second-row duo Ali Williams (arm) and Bakkies Botha (broken arm), which is a blow to their pack.
