Toulon have confirmed that Juan Smith and Jocelino Suta will both captain the side at the start of the new season.
The former Springbok flanker and France lock take over from Carl Hayman, who retired at the end of the 2014/2015 campaign.
Forwards coach Jacques Delmas confirmed the news to Var Matin on Wednesday as Toulon ramp up their preparations for the start of the new season, with the two players leading the side during the Rugby World Cup.
The European champions are still without a number of players currently away training for the global tournament, including Bryan Habana, Matt Giteau, Drew Mitchell and Mathieu Bastareaud among a total of 17.
Duane Vermeulen, Paul O'Connell, Ma'a Nonu and Samu Manoa are all new signings who will join the club after the end of the World Cup.
