Toulon add Halfpenny to European squad

Toulon have added full-back Leigh Halfpenny as an additional player to their squad ahead of next month's Champions Cup quarter-final against Racing 92.

Halfpenny, who has been sidelined since before the 2015 Rugby World Cup with a knee injury, is joined by Théo Belan and Iuri Natriashvili as Toulon's new arrivals.

Other notable reinforcements for teams in the last eight of Europe's top tier club competition are Mitch Lees and Lachie Turner for Exeter, Jean de Villiers (Leicester), Craig Burden and Aled de Malmanche (Stade Français) and Wasps international backs, Andrea Masi and Siale Piutau.
