A late Ben Toolis try sealed a dramatic 24-23 home win for Edinburgh over the Scarlets in the PRO12.
The first half saw Scarlets score three tries through Hadleigh Parkes, James Davies and Steffan Evans, with Aled Thomas kicking eight points.
Blair Kinghorn kicked 11 points for the home side, with Phil Burleigh scoring their only try of the half.
Scarlets failed to register a score in the second half and they were punished for it, a Kinghorn penalty was followed by a try from Toolis late on to seal the win for Edinburgh.
Edinburgh took the lead with a penalty from the boot of Kinghorn, the 19-year-old was one only two changes made to the side that lost to Ospreys last week.
Scarlets though were quick to level the scores with a penalty of their own from Aled Thomas.
The first try of the game came just after ten minutes when Burleigh crossed the line for the hosts.The Edinburgh fly-half broke through several tackles before dotting over.
Another Thomas penalty kept the Scarlets insight before a mistake in the Edinburgh backline gifted a a try for Scarlets captain Parkes.
A second Kinghorn penalty regained the lead for the hosts, before Scarlets grabbed their second try through openside flanker Davies. A flat pass from Regan King found the back-row who powered through the Edinburgh defence to score.
The Scarlets' third of the try of the game came five minutes before the break, quick hands from the backline finding Evans who darted over in the corner.
The third penalty from Kinghorn reduced the Scarlets lead to seven going into half-time.
The second half began as the first ended with Kinghorn slotting his fourth penalty to bring the score the 19-23.
After a quiet 20 minutes on the scoreboard, Edinburgh made the vital breakthrough when Toolis crashed over from close range for their second dry of the afternoon. A late penalty miss from Thomas denied Scarlets a dramatic victory at Murrayfield.
