Ospreys flanker Justin Tipuric will miss Wales' June tour to South Africa as he will undergo surgery on long standing shoulder injury next week.
Tipuric is one of three Ospreys players who will go under the knife in the coming days along with Ashley Beck and James King.
Tipuric will have keyhole surgery to repair an ongoing shoulder problem and will rehab over the summer and during pre-season, with a view to making himself available for selection at the start of next season.
Beck will undergo a procedure next week on a recurring hip problem and faces a six month recovery period.
Both players will be involved against Connacht at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.
Meanwhile, King will have surgery on a recurring ankle injury today (Friday), ruling him out of the final game of the season on Saturday. Recovery time is estimated at four months.
