Welcoming back Wales and Lions flanker Justin Tipuric to action has been a real boost for Ospreys boss Steve Tandy.
Tipuric was excellent in the 62-13 thrashing of Edinburgh last weekend.
The 25-year-old had been sidelined with a shoulder injury for four months after undergoing surgery.
Underlining his loyalty to the region, Tandy was delighted to have Tipuric back in action.
“He’s a Lion and it’s always great to have those guys back,” Tandy told the South Wales Evening Post.
“He’s a true Osprey who’s desperate to wear the shirt and make our team better, so it’s great to have someone like him coming back into the group.
“He hadn’t played any rugby for months but he does the simple things well, with his tackle-contest work, for instance.
“He’s just into everything with his speed to the breakdowns and he popped up in a number of movements to keep the game flowing against Edinburgh.”
