Clermont hooker Benjamin Kayser has revealed that he still has a soft spot for Leicester ahead of their Heineken Cup quarter-final showdown in April.
The 29-year-old, who enjoyed a two-year stint at Welford Road from 2007 to 2009, will take on his old side when they meet in the knockout stages.
And Kayser admits he has special memories of his time with the Tigers, having shone alongside George Chuter during his spell in Leicester.
“Part of my heart remains with them, it will always be a special time for me,” the hooker told AFP.
“Given their pack is probably one of the best in Europe, it will be a big fight, a real showdown.”
