France have suffered a setback after their 20-13 loss to Wales, with Morgan Parra ruled out for the remainder of the Six Nations due to a knee injury.
The scrum-half is set to be sidelined for at least ten weeks.
Clermont's playmaker, who started against the Welsh at the Stade de France, suffered a tear to the posterior ligament in his right knee over the weekend.
He will be immobilised for a period of four weeks and according to a Clermont statement "his return to competition won't be possible before ten weeks".
As well as missing their remaining Six Nations games, Parra is also expected to be absent for Clermont's Champions Cup clash with Northampton Saints.
