Bath have suffered another major setback to their tighthead prop stocks after Henry Thomas underwent shoulder surgery in London on Monday.

The England international, whose presence was set to be critical due to the absence of David Wilson (neck), will miss a chunk of his club's season run-in.

Wilson injured his AC joint against Sale Sharks and is now likely to miss their Champions Cup quarter-final at Leinster amongst other Premiership games.

"En route to London for a shoulder operation. Gutted that I'm going to miss some big @bathrugby games Hopefully back for the end of the season," he tweeted.
