Super Rugby continues this Friday with big games in Dunedin and Sydney as the Highlanders and Waratahs host the Hurricanes and Rebels respectively.
Fixtures set for Saturday see the Blues face the Cheetahs, Brumbies host the Stormers, the Force take on the Chiefs, the Lions host the Reds before the Bulls welcome the Sharks to Loftus Versfeld to cap what should be another captivating round of action. The Crusaders sit this one out on their bye week.
Highlanders v Hurricanes: The last time these two teams met the score was 49-44 in favour of the Highlanders. The points margin from the bookies for this clash is 53.5 so if you go off that 2013 meeting in Wellington, this should be easy money at 5/6 on a perfect Forsyth Barr Stadium surface.
We also like the look of home full-back Ben Smith to score anytime at 17/10 and the same goes for Aaron Smith (13/5) and Elliot Dixon (4/1), with a safe bet being Julian Savea to cross on the opposite side. Why not have a go on the All Black to be the Hurricanes' (not the game's) first try scorer at 11/2?
Blues v Cheetahs: This should be a thoroughly entertaining game at Eden Park as the Blues look to bounce back from a disappointing two-game tour to South Africa while the Cheetahs hope to go into their bye week on a positive note following defeats to the Rebels, Reds and the Hurricanes.
What is worrying for the Cheetahs is they have conceded 35, 43 and then 60 points in those recent losses so an attack like the Blues back-line could do some serious damage in Auckland. We expect the hosts to cut loose in the second-half so let's get on winger Frank Halai to score two or more at 5/1.
Highlanders v Hurricanes: Highlanders by 5
Waratahs v Rebels: Waratahs by 15
Blues v Cheetahs: Blues by 10
Brumbies v Stormers: Brumbies by 8
Force v Chiefs: Chiefs by 20
Lions v Reds: Reds by 5
Bulls v Sharks: Sharks by 3
