Stormers head coach Robbie Fleck insists that his team is focused on winning their next five matches.

After being given the easier side of the draw which involves less travel and only playing against the Australian teams, the Stormers were expected to cruise through Africa 2 Conference, however with five games to go they have it all to do.

The Lions lead the South African group with 32 points while the Sharks and the Bulls are chasing down in hot pursuit on 30 points and 28 points respectively.

The Stormers were not helped by their disappointing 17-17 draw with the Sunwolves on Saturday.

Fleck said that his team will put the game behind them and turn their attention towards the Bulls, who they face at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday.

Fleck told Sport24 after the game: “The Lions and the Sharks don’t have anything to do with us. We’ve got to win our conference and the next game against the Bulls is our focus.”

Fleck added that he will back the same team that went down on the weekend to get the job done over the Bulls.

“Results-wise, we’ve been playing really well. I don’t exactly have a huge squad to select from so for me it’s important to back the guys that are in the squad and get them back on track,” said Fleck.

“It was a bad day at the office for everybody and we’ll move on.

“We’ll be better for it against the Bulls.

“There were a couple of guys who put their hands up and we probably are a little bit clearer in where we want to go in terms of selection.”
