The Stormers have made just two back-line changes for Saturday's clash with the unbeaten Brumbies at Newlands.

An unchanged forward pack, that lost to the Sharks last week at the same venue, is testament of the faith that head coach Robbie Fleck has in them.

Nic Groom gets his first nod in the starting line-up, replacing the injured Jano Vermaak, with Louis Schreuder coming in on the bench. The only other change sees young winger, Leolin Zas making way for Kobus van Wyk. The latter has recovered from an ankle injury that he sustained in the opening round against the Bulls.

Fleck is impressed by the positive approach that his side has taken since their 13-18 defeat against the Sharks last weekend.

"I have been encouraged by the positive intent our players have shown so far, and this is another great opportunity to test ourselves against a strong team,"  he told the Stormers website.

"We are developing as a team, and hope to take another step forward in what will be another great battle at DHL Newlands."
