CJ Stander wants his team-mates to pick themselves up for their clash with Racing 92 next week after a disappointing defeat to Leinster.
Munster went down 25-14 to their rivals at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday but Stander says they must pick themselves up quickly before facing Racing in Paris next Sunday.
"We had opportunities, we just didn’t use them first or second half," Stander said after the game.
'Jaco (Taute) scored a good try there in the corner, we’re creating stuff, just making silly mistakes and we’re not capitalising on them. We need a reality check. We’re going over to Paris and it’s not going to be easy. The good thing is we’re not on a high going there, we were defeated today and luckily there’s a lot to learn yet and it’s going to hurt us a bit."
Rassie Erasmus' side made too many unforced errors and conceded 13 turnovers.
"You can’t win a game with that,” Stander said. "Silly mistakes and they capitalised on it, I think they scored two tries from our mistakes. It’s not big stuff, just look after the ball and that’s going to come down and we’ll need that for the next two weeks. Those two tries we gave them, that’s 14 points and it’s a close game so if we just cut that out, game on. It’s stuff we need to fix."
