The Scottish Rugby Union are set to fight hard to keep fly-half Finn Russell on home soil, with clubs circling for the international star.
Russell, 24, has been in fine form this season which has alerted the likes of Toulon, Montpellier, Bath and Gloucester to his services.
But with a year remaining on his deal, which ends in May 2018, it would take a serious offer to prise him away from Glasgow Warriors.
According to BBC Sport, the SRU say no club has made contact about Russell and they would not be open to discussing him leaving.
"Finn is contracted until the end of next season and we expect him to see that out," the publication reports an SRU spokesman as saying.
Glasgow are currently riding high in their Champions Cup pool and in 2014/15 won the PRO12 title, but if a big-money offer was forthcoming it would be interesting to see if either club or player turns their head.
