France prop Rabah Slimani is confident that the national team will complete a smooth transition between coaches in the Six Nations next month.
France finished fourth in the 2015 campaign, only ahead of Scotland and Italy in the final standings.
However, the squad which will represent France at this year's campaign will feature a few new faces and Slimani remains confident the uncapped players will make a meaningful contribution during this period of change.
"It's a new chapter with a new generation who are arriving," Slimani told the Six Nations website.
"It's up to us to prove that we can compete and that we are capable. There is a great transition between the older guys and the new players," added Slimani.
Slimani only made his debut in 2013, however he is now a permanent fixture in the squad and regarded as one of the best players in the world in his position.
