Slater replaces Lawes in England squad

A total of 33 players have been called up by England to train at Pennyhill Park for Saturday’s Six Nations game against Wales at Twickenham.

Ed Slater (Leicester Tigers) replaces Courtney Lawes (Northampton Saints) who sustained an ankle injury playing against Saracens on Saturday.

Luther Burrell (Northampton Saints) also joins up with the squad for Marland Yarde (Harlequins) who suffered a shoulder injury during Harlequins defeat to Sale Sharks.

Ollie Devoto (Bath) is fit again having been sidelined with concussion.
