Slade’s future may be overseas

Crusaders fly-half Colin Slade admits he is yet to make a decision on whether to stay in New Zealand following the World Cup.

The 27-year-old's contract is up at the end of the year after returning to Christchurch in 2014.

Slade has performed well for the Crusaders so far this season and the side will no doubt be eager to keep him beyond the end of this year with Dan Carter and Tom Taylor heading to France.

Preparing to face the Bulls in Pretoria this weekend, Slade said that he was enjoying his time at the moment with the Crusaders but added that moving on wasn't out of the question.

"It is pretty early days. I have just been wanting to get a few games under my belt and look at those decisions later," Slade told The Press.

"I suppose the way things are going it is pretty positive, but who knows?

"I don't want to make any promises but I am obviously enjoying my time here at the moment, so we will see in due course."
