Six out of six for Makos

Tasman made it six wins out of six in the ITM Cup so far this season as they defeated Championship side North Harbour 39-20 in Nelson on Wednesday.

A second-string line-up did not stop the Makos from picking up a bonus-point victory as right wing Viliami Lolohea starred with a well-taken hat-trick of tries.

Jimmy Cowan, Marty Banks and Mitchell Scott were Tasman's other scorers, with Nafi Tuitavake and Michael Little responding for a brave North Harbour.

North Harbour were very much in the contest at half-time as they went in at Trafalgar Park just one point behind at 14-13 after a positive 40 minutes.

But the Premiership league leaders ran away with things in the second stanza as Lolohea, Banks and Scott crossed the line to put the result beyond doubt.
