Western Force will welcome back six players, including Ben McCalman and Alby Mathewson, from injury for this week's clash with the Blues in Perth.

That duo, Hugh McMeniman, Marcel Brache, Tetera Faulkner and Solomoni Rasolea return.

McMeniman is back at blindside flanker in place of Angus Cottrell, who suffered a season-ending ankle injury in the Western Australian club's last match against the Crusaders in Christchurch. McMeniman will make his first appearance since breaking his collarbone during Round Six.

Mathewson has been selected in his first match against the Blues since leaving Auckland to join the Force for the 2013 Super Rugby season. The 28-year-old, who re-signed with the Force for another two seasons last month, recovers from injury to join Sias Ebersohn as the half-backs.
