Scott Sio will earn his 50th Super Rugby cap at the age of 23 but insists his focus is on helping the Brumbies beat the Hurricanes.
The loosehead prop scored one of the Brumbies' five tries in their qualifier win over the Stormers in Cape Town, but knows that the top-seeded Hurricanes will provide an altogether stiffer task.
And while Sio has reached the milestone at a very young age, since debuting in 2012, he is concentrating on helping the Brumbies reach a second final in three years.
"It’s a great occasion but I think the strength of our team is that we never really focus on individual accolades," said Sio.
"They’ve always been a part of rugby and it is a great part, but we understand that to be able to celebrate something like that we need to go out and do our job on the weekend.
"We’re up against a tough outfit this weekend in the Hurricanes, so I won’t be looking for anything special, just to do my job out there.
"One of the things we can draw on is 2013 and knowing how close we came and being in such a similar situation.
"No matter how your finals go, you’ve got to make the final somehow and this path is ours."
