Argentina and Leicester Tigers flanker Pablo Matera will miss the Australiasian tour after suffering a partial shoulder dislocation.

An MRI scan confirmed that the 21-year-old had detached his subscapularis muscle, according to Pumas doctor Guillermo Botto.

The hard-hitting flanker will now miss Argentina's next two matches and possibly longer, although a definite timeframe it should be stressed is yet to be confirmed.

Matera joined Leicester midway through last season and has already won 12 caps for Argentina since making his debut against Chile in 2013.
