The Sharks have welcomed back Springbok forwards Pieter-Steph du Toit and Willem Alberts, with the start of Super Rugby drawing closer.
Du Toit damaged his ACL back in March last year to rule him out for the remainder of 2014, while Alberts underwent back surgery and missed the November Tests.
‘I have no discomfort and it is good to be back at practice again with the guys after the frustration of last year,’ Alberts told Netwerk24.
There is less good news however for new Sharks boss Gary Gold regarding Stephan Lewies and Paul Jordaan.
Lewies, who played a major role last season in the second row, is yet to return to training.
Jordaan meanwhile is still recovering from a leg fracture and isn’t expected back in training until April.
The Sharks will face European champions Toulon in a friendly later this month.
