The Sharks have added to their options in the backs for next season with the signing of Wandile Mjekevu.
Mjekevu has joined the side on a two-year deal and will link up with the squad in July, returning to South Africa from France where he has been playing for Perpignan.
The 24-year-old has previous experience playing with the Lions and Sharks in South Africa. He joins other new signings Joe Pietersen, Willie le Roux, Phillip van der Walt and Jacques Potgieter in Durban.
"We are delighted that Wandile has decided to return to the Sharks," said Sharks director of rugby Gary Gold.
"He had a great stint in France and he is an unbelievable prospect. His strength and agility around the park will most certainly bolster our backline and we look forward to him progressing at the franchise."
"I am thrilled to be back in Durban. I'm looking forward to being a part of and contributing within the new and exciting set-up at the Sharks," said Mjekevu.
