Sharks sign hooker Ralepelle
The Sharks have announced the signing of former Springbok and Toulouse hooker Chiliboy Ralepelle.
The year 2006 was a breakthrough year for the then 19 year-old Ralepelle, who made both his Super Rugby debut for the Bulls as well as his first appearance for the Boks.
He went on to represent his country on 22 occasions and also made 69 Super Rugby appearances for the Bulls.
Commenting on his signing, Sharks director of rugby, Gary Gold said: "I am pleased to have acquired the services of a hooker with the pedigree of Chiliboy Ralepelle. He is a brilliant player with a strong work ethic and will be an asset to our squad.
"We look forward to welcoming him to Durban."
Ralepelle was recently suspended for a doping offence, with the hooker free to play again on April 10, 2016.
