Sharks make five changes

Date published: March 24 2016

Sharks director of rugby Gary Gold has made five changes, including a positional switch, to his starting line-up for Saturday's clash with the Crusaders in Durban.

Cobus Reinach returns to the starting line-up at scrum-half, in the only change amongst a rather settled looking back-line that has enjoyed unprecedented continuity over the first month of the competition.

Philip van der Walt starts his second consecutive match, this week shifting tonumber eight to give Daniel du Preez a much-needed break and he shifts to the bench. The good news is the return of his twin brother Jean-Luc who missed last week’s showdown with the Bulls after suffering a minor foot injury against the Stormers.

The final changes come in the front row, Coenie Oosthuizen and Franco Marais back in the starting XV after rotational changes had the duo playing off the bench last week.
