Sharks coach Brad Macleod-Henderson has made several changes to his side for Saturday's clash with Griquas in Durban.

The second row is an area that was hit hard in last weekend's loss to the Pumas, but while JC Astle is currently on the injury list, Etienne Oosthuizen has been cleared to play after initially picking up an ankle niggle.

He has been moved to the back row for this match to take the place of Francois Kleinhans who has a broken hand. Stephan Lewies and Wiehan Hay will partner at lock.

Thomas du Toit and Lourens Adriaanse have been handed starting berths in the front row in the other changes amongst the pack.

In the backs, Jaco van Tonder will start his first game at full-back this year while SP Marias gets a breather, having played 290 of a possible 320 minutes so far in the tournament.

Heimar Williams will partner Paul Jordaan in the midfield with S'bura Sithole shifting to the wing in the final change.

The bench sees the re-introduction of Monde Hadebe, Marco Wentzel and Tim Swiel who has been turning out for the U21s, but is no stranger to the senior side, having featured in six Super Rugby matches this season.
