Ireland fly-half Jonathan Sexton has passed the first two stages of his Head Injury Assessment protocol after being forced off against Wasps.

Sexton has passed both Head Injury Assessment (HIA) 1 and 2 and will complete HIA 3 on Tuesday.

The Ireland squad gathered in Carton House on Monday as they begin their preparations for the 2016 Six Nations. There is one change to the squad as announced last week and a medical update on some of the players after the weekend.

Connacht prop Finlay Bealham has been called up to the squad in place of Marty Moore who tore his hamstring in Leinster's clash with Wasps at the weekend.

Moore has been sidelined for between six and eight weeks as a result of the injury.

Ireland centre Robbie Henshaw has suffered no ill effects after playing for Connacht at the weekend.
