Wales have been given a boost with the news that Ospreys lock Alun Wyn Jones is fit to return against England at Twickenham on Sunday.

Wales have been given a boost with the news that Ospreys lock Alun Wyn Jones is fit to return against England at Twickenham on Sunday.

The 82-cap Test veteran was a late withdrawal from Wales' 27-6 win over France a fortnight ago with a foot infection.

But Wales defence coach Shaun Edwards said on Tuesday that Jones is fit and is expected to start.

“Alun Wyn Jones is fine. We are looking pretty healthy,” said Edwards.

Edwards also expressed his pleasure at seeing Lions centre Jonathan Davies' return to fitness following a pectoral injury suffered in November. The Scarlets centre

“It was great to see Jon Davies come through his game. He's worked hard and I think that showed with the way he played,” said Edwards.
