Scotland are hopeful that hooker Ross Ford will be fit for the Six Nations clash with England at Twickenham on March 14.

Ford suffered a severe back spasm during the match against Italy, forcing him to be replaced by Fraser Brown in the 65th minute.

Ford will be managed by the Scotland and Edinburgh medical teams over the coming week, with the view to becoming available ahead of the Calcutta Cup clash.

A number of other players required the attention of the medical team, however none are currently considered a cause for concern for the next Championship match.
