Scarlets got the better of Welsh rivals the Dragons at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday, winning 29-10 with a try bonus-point in Cardiff.

Dragons scored a try courtesy of Tyler Morgan and a there was a penalty for Dorian Jones in the first-half in a decent start for them.

But the Scarlets then marched into the lead with two tries late in the first 40 from Ken Owens and Scott Williams and there was also a penalty for Rhys Priestland to give them a 17-10 advantage at half time.

Dragons did not score any points in the second-half as Scarlets claimed two more tries from Liam Williams and Harry Robinson to seal the 29-10 victory.

Priestland opened the scoring in the first-half with a penalty for Scarlets after six minutes had been played.

Ten minutes later, Morgan was released by midfield partner Jack Dixon to crash over the line in the corner for the Dragons. Jones added a penalty to give his side a bigger lead.

However, in the last two minutes of the first-half, Scarlets managed to score two tries and get ahead of the home side. Jake Ball's burst allowed captain Owen into some space and some poor tackling by the Dragons enabled him to dive over the line.

A minute later, Liam Williams collected his own chip kick and released the ball to Scott Williams as he was tackled who finished it off with the try, meaning the visitors went into half time 17-10 in the lead.

Liam Williams opened the scoring in the second-half with his own try after breaking free from the tackle and crossing the line for a try.

Scarlets were soon over for their bonus-point try when a series of passes out wide found Robinson and he dived over in the corner, securing the victory for Scarlets.
