Racing 92 fly-half Dan Carter believes Saracens will be favourites when the two sides meet in next month's Champions Cup Final.
Racing advanced to the final in Lyon after Sunday's win over Leicester Tigers, with Carter scoring 11 points off the tee as his fairytale start to life with the Top 14 giants continues.
Saracens reached the European Cup final back in 2014, giving them that extra bit of experience, but Farrell also described them as the form side in Europe this season after dominating both the Champions Cup and Premiership.
Carter picked out his personal battle with England number ten Owen Farrell as a key contest within the match itself, whilst adding that he had enjoying his time playing in the Champions Cup so far since his arrival after the Rugby World Cup.
"I'd have thought Saracens would be favourites. They've probably performed best in this tournament and deserve their spot in the final," Carter said.
"They've been leading the way, top of the points table at the end of the pool stages and have continued their form in the quarter-final and semi-final, so it's going to be a tough game for us.
"I've played against Owen Farrell a few times internationally, he's a great competitor, very physical, and he really leads that Saracens side extremely well.
"So I'm looking forward to coming up against him and that Saracens side.
"They've been the form side of the European Champions cup and deserve their sport in the final.
"It's pretty special, part of the reason why I came here was to play in this competition and for the team to play extremely well and reach the final, it's exciting."
