Argentina fly-half Nicolás Sánchez has left Toulon as he prepares to get married in May before the Rugby World Cup.
The Pumas number ten joined Toulon as a medical joker to cover for Frédéric Michalak earlier this season and had a successful five months with the French and European champions.
Sánchez has now returned to Argentina after 15 games with Toulon, looking back on his time fondly.
"I'm obviously disappointed to be leaving just before the decisive matches at the end of the season but I'll take some happy memories with me," Sanchez told AFP.
"It's been my best club experience, that's for sure. I've had five incredible months. I came to Toulon with the main challenge being to learn.
"I didn't think I'd play much so I'm delighted to have been able to do so in this great team.
"Being able to come to Toulon and succeed was very important for me."
