Sale put themselves in position to make the Challenge Cup quarter-finals after a 38-5 one-sided rout of Newport Gwent Dragons.
Danny Cipriani impresed, notably with a clever assist for Nev Edwards to secure Sale's bonus-point in the 47th minute.
Former Springbok prop Brian Mujati opened the scoring after Dragons had lost Hallam Amos to a yellow card for a deliberate knock-on.
A penalty try was followed by new England call-up Josh Beaumont crossing just before half-time to give Sale a commanding 24-0 lead.
Cipriani's magic for Edwards furthered the advantage before the 50-minute mark and the Dragons were facing a whitewash at 31-0 down until Ashton Hewitt went over for a consolation.
Mike Haley however had the last say for the hosts with their fifth try to round off a convincing victory.
